I hold a master's degree in Health Education and a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. I have been a high school Health & Physical Education teacher since 2006. I designed and created a Yoga & Self Care for Every Body Physical Education course for high school students and have been teaching the course for the past 3 years which has been extremely rewarding! I am also a member of the Wellness Committee for my school district and teach many fitness workshops for the staff.
I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I fell in love with Barre Intensity at a training I took about 5 years ago and have been hooked ever since! I hold many fitness certifications and presently teach barre, yoga, pilates, and toning & sculpting classes. My favorite aspect about being a fitness instructor and teacher is getting to know my students and helping them reach their goals! My hope is that students feel better in some way (physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.) when they leave my fitness class than when they entered.
