Mica is a 24+ year veteran of the fitness industry. She first started teaching group fitness classes as an intern at age 16. She quickly figured out that fitness was her calling and went on to earn her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas. She has always believed that movement is medicine, and she has been sharing that philosophy while getting people moving all over the world.
She has worked many positions in the fitness industry including instructor, personal trainer, club manager, master trainer, international fitness conference presenter, program director, and now as owner of Barre Intensity®. Her passion and commitment to always learning has helped her find new ways to motivate, educate, and get people moving over the years.
She is trained in over 20 different fitness formats ranging from Bounce, Barre, Kickboxing, Strength, Pilates, and more. Mica believes that the workouts you enjoy are the best ones for you.
Mica has found a shift in her passion the past few years. While she still loves leading participants through fun workouts, in person and online. Her real love has become training, educating, and creating programs for fitness instructors. Watching others shine brings her the most joy. She loves sharing her talents, ideas, and knowledge.
