Barre fitness classes have become a staple on many collegiate campus recreation schedules across the country. Since instructor turnover is inevitable with graduation of student instructors, it's important to have a barre certification program that is reliable and effective. Who better to explain the benefits of the Barre Intensity barre certification program than one of our most valued partners at the University of Nebraska. Hear from Sarah Lewis, Group Fitness Coordinator, on why she recommends Barre Intensity.
When asked about the onsite Barre Intensity certification course:
We use the Barre Intensity barre certification program for so many reasons here at the University of Nebraska. We’ve hosted two instructor trainings and they were so well put together and educational. I especially appreciate the emphasis on proper alignment and anatomy. I love that it’s a one and done certification so there aren’t monthly certification fees. This makes the certification much more accessible to our college student instructors. The Barre Intensity staff has consistently been supportive and helpful to answer any questions. I appreciate how organized and timely they are.
When asked about the Barre Intensity Online Barre Instructor Training program:
We’re also going to start utilizing the online certification training to help the instructors who might not be able to attend our in-person certifications. It’s great to have the two options. I appreciate the ability to go at your own pace through the online sections and re-watch videos to increase teaching confidence.
When asked about the continued support Barre Intensity provides:
Another major benefit of Barre Intensity is all of the resources they provide! As a Barre Intensity instructor, you always feel supported. All of my instructors love the online Barre Now resource to gain new choreography ideas. The new instructors love it because it’s helpful to have step by step breakdown of example classes to help ease them into crafting their own classes. The freedom to create your own choreography or utilize the pre made classes helps fit a wide range of instructor experience and learning preference. Personally, before teaching a barre class I will look through a video or two to learn a few new moves or combination in order to continually keep my classes fresh and challenging. It’s what keeps my participants excited to come back each week.
